Imagine the failure of your staff to also be articulate regarding safe handling of medication and issues such as best interest. In this case, there is serious potential harm to the people using your service. You will be unlikely viewed as safe by the CQC. Your leadership will also be questionable in this case seriously affecting your rating. You have a duty to disclose and publish your rating. There will be an impact on the quality of contracts and people will to take a risk with your service. You might also find it difficult recruiting quality staff when there is a bad reputation.
