Meeting CQC Compliance

Our consulting service is to ultimately ensure CQC compliance by assisting you to make links between the CQC, fundamental standards and your organisation. Your service should never fail against the fundamental Standards.

Applying the CQC Single Framework and KLOE (Key Lines of Enquiry) Rating

Our CQC Specialist advisors will assist you to analyse and evaluate your service against the CQC assessment criteria, KLOE also referred to as the 5 domains. This is an assessment approach used by the CQC to test performance against the fundamental standards when being registered and inspected. KLOE involves answering and proving how your organisation is safe, effective, caring, responsive and well-led?

Keylines of Enquiry Kloe Criteria

Your service is then rated as either outstanding, good, requires improvement or inadequate. Rating of Keylines of Enquiry Kloe Standards

Please bear in mind that the CQC is now applying KLOE as part of the Quality Standards and using a new single assessment framework that focuses on four themes (People and Communities, Smarter Regulation, Safety through learning and Accelerating improvement).

The CQC Single Assessment Framework (SAF) is focused on gathering the lived experiences and perceptions of individuals regarding the quality of their care. It also heavily considers the views of staff, families and professionals to determine the quality of care being provided.

This Single Assessment Framework approach to CQC inspections is based on triangulation of evidence where the views of a variety of sources is sought to determine the quality of evidence. The CQC Inspector will use a variety of sources such as observation, feedback, outcomes of care and interviews. Where opinions are similar between different sources this improves the quality of data and makes it easy for the CQC inspector to grade your service.

This new CQC inspection framework is focused on 'we statements' that are written from the perspective of the provider. The aim and objective of the CQC is to for their new assessment framework to be able to to create cultures based on continuous development (learning and improving), with foundation grounded on networking (working together with others) to plan, deliver safe, effective, well-led person-centered care.
