Childcare Courses and Qualifications

Caretips delivers a range of childcare and early years courses by distance and blended learning. These qualifications are recognised by Ofsted. Our courses are delivered by an experienced team who are committed to getting you qualified as soon as possible. Qualifications which require demonstration of practice in the work place will require observations. These can be conducted by assessors or other suitably qualified expert witnesses.

Caretips also delivers mandatory training, safeguarding courses, adult and social care courses and the train the care trainer course.

1] Level 3 Award in Supervised Contact Practice

The Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Adult Care replaces the Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care and Children and Young People’s Services. The course supersedes the predecessor care qualifications ( Level 4 NVQ Leadership and Management in Care Services and Level 4 NVQ Health and Social Care).

2] Level 3 Diploma for the Children’s and Young People’s Workforce (RQF)

This course is aimed at people already working in a health or social care setting with children and young people who want to develop and demonstrate their skills in a senior role. In registered settings other than child-minding, all supervisors and managers must at least hold a full and relevant level 3 qualification as defined by the Children’s Workforce Development Council (CWDC).

3] Level 3 Diploma for Residential Childcare

The Level 3 Diploma for Residential Childcare has been specified by the sector skills council Skills for Care, in consultation with employers, learning providers and those who use services in the Residential Childcare sector. This qualification constitutes part of the children’s homes regulations which came into force in April 2015.

4] Level 3 Diploma in Children's Learning and Development (Early Years Educator)

Level 3 Diploma in Children’s Learning and Development (Early Years Educator) qualification meets the Early Years Educator criteria defined by the National College for Teaching and Leadership (NCTL). It is recognised as a full and relevant qualification at level 3 that practitioners must hold to be included in the specified ratios of the Statutory Framework for the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
