Safeguarding Courses (Children, Young People, Vulnerable Adults)

Caretips offers a number of safeguarding courses for care workers, seniors and managers. These courses are linked to regulatory standards and aimed practitioners working in childcare, young people and vulnerable adults settings. All practitioners working in care have a duty to protect and safeguard people under their care. This is an area of great concern for the CQC and Ofsted which will support you to demonstrate knowledge, understanding and compliance against the regulations. All level 5 qualifications enable you to achieve some credits towards the level 5 Diploma.

We also deliver child care courses, adult and social care training, care mandatory training and train the care trainer courses.

1] Level 3 Award in Safeguarding Children and Young People

This course is suitable for practitioners working with children and young people. The course aims to develop knowledge and understanding of the safeguarding of children and young people. Course content contains roles, responsibilities, relevant legislation and regulations.

2] Level 3 Award in Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults

This course is suitable for care workers working with vulnerable people. It is designed to improve knowledge and understanding of the safeguarding of vulnerable people. Course content contains roles, responsibilities, relevant legislation and regulations.

3] Level 3 Award for the Designated safeguarding lead

This course is suitable for those who have a responsibility designated safeguarding lead. It highlights roles and responsibilities as enshrined by law such as record keeping, referrals and multi-agency working.

4] Level 5 Award in Safeguarding for Managers

This course is suitable for practitioners working in a senior role such as registered managers, supervisors and care leads. The courses has a focus on roles and responsibilities as enshrined by law. The course also aims to develop knowledge and understanding of local, national guidelines and legislative framework.
